Granuloma Annulare
The red round lesions of granuloma annulare, seen most commonly on the backs of the hands and feet, are often mistaken for ringworm fungus.  Granuloma annulare is an immune system reaction that responds to topical or injectable cortisone.  Lesions are usually not itchy and therapy is offered for cosmetic reasons.
