Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra
Dermatosis papulosa nigra is a skin condition characterized by tiny dark brown or black "wart-like" growths on the face, neck, and chest of patients, usually those of darker skin type.  Though they are safe and not associated with skin cancer, they can become a cosmetic concern to some or are itchy when lesions rub on clothing.  Patients with darker skin tones are very susceptible to pigment changes after any skin procedure and therefore these lesions require careful, skillful removal.
